Long time ago from the last update of my Extensions. The truth is I’ve been a little busy learning about the crypto world. I’ve always been following news and updates about crypto world but I never thought to start investing and mining until beginning of December 2017! In future posts I’ll talk about it and more things, like that I’ll offer the possibility to buy my GameMaker Extensions with cryptocurrencies 👍
But let’s focus on this new update of my Firebase AdMob Extension. For the iOS target there aren’t interesting things to mention, but for the Android target there are bug fixes and general improvements that make the updating to this new version a recommended one.
The latest SDK version is available for both GameMaker Studio platforms. For GMS 1.4 I’ve updated the Firebase AdMob SDK Extension to the version 1.7.0. It includes the new Firebase AdMob iOS SDK 7.27.0 and the Firebase AdMob Android SDK 11.8.0 released on 13 December 2017 and 18 December 2017 respectively.

- Added support for native video mediation. Native mediation adapters must implement the mediaView method on GADMediatedNativeAppInstallAd and GADMediatedNativeContentAd and return their media view.
Firebase AdMob Android SDK 11.8.0 Changelog
- Bug fixes and general improvements.
For GMS 2.1 I’ve updated the Firebase AdMob SDK Extension to the version 2.7.0. It also includes the new Firebase AdMob iOS SDK 7.27.0 and the Firebase AdMob Android SDK 11.8.0.
